lyrics
When I’m gone
What will I remember most
I fell asleep with you on the phone
Those buildings sure were tall
When I die I’ll finally get to rest my bones
They’ve walked through the night alone
They’ve gone further than my heart could go
September it’s finally summer
I’m a highland parker
With no cellular marker
I said I’d try it didn’t I try it
The train home
Is hazy like my sights are long
I’m as jaded as a blue green stone
But I’ll come back with a different song
Sun setter it’s morning somewhere
I will send my archer
With no cellular marker
On your front step back from Bushwick
Where have you been I cannot remember
The chromes and the heathers
Roaming untethered
Poor without measure
Worn without weather
Hotter than heaven

This album can transport you to a fun place with Leon Bridges singing and Khruangbin supporting him with their fantastic music. I love everything about this vinyl and am so glad I got the lunar press! Thank you all so much! Michelle May

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop

This Nashville trio make ultra-catchy indie rock (in the '90s sense of the term) with taut musicianship and a freewheeling spirit. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 2, 2021
