lyrics
What if I told you
Maybe last September
I could feel the changes in the wind
Cooling down more
In the early evening
The smell of flowers dying again
I thought you’d never know you know
I thought you’d never know
But here we are in our corner of the world
If I could fathom
Really just imagine
The warm breeze clutching to first thaw
You’d be standing
Waiting at the back fence
Grinning like you knew it all along
I thought you’d never know you know
I thought you’d never know
But here you are in my corner of the world
Come full circle I can still remember
The way it looked from your streets edge
Green and shrouded with tiny gleams of yellow
Speckled violet by sunsets red
the way it looked from your streets edge
I thought you’d never know you know
I thought you’d never know
But here we are in our corner of the world
I thought you’d never know you know
I thought you’d dare not go
But here we are in our corner of the world

This album can transport you to a fun place with Leon Bridges singing and Khruangbin supporting him with their fantastic music. I love everything about this vinyl and am so glad I got the lunar press! Thank you all so much! Michelle May

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop

This Nashville trio make ultra-catchy indie rock (in the '90s sense of the term) with taut musicianship and a freewheeling spirit. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 2, 2021
